What I did yesterday, January 8, creating my website ‘Quote Me If You Can’ must be a world’s first – this is the first time an author is collecting his own thoughts (if you will pardon the pun) and offering them separate from the articles themselves. I have the brashness to declare that I am quotable, and here are my quotes? It looks like that. Actually, I was only thinking that since some people may not have the time to read my long essays, they may just want to browse through each one, and my selections should help them in this regard.

If truth be told, I want to show the world, like Filipino ICRISAT Director General William Dar has shown spectacularly (read my essays), that the Filipino can! The Filipino can what? The Filipino can surmount obstacles, can excel, can be #1 not only in a foreign country like India but also in a foreign tongue like English. When the Filipino is good, he is world-class.
